HOW MANY KW A WOOD BURNING STOVE FOR 100 M² NEEDS
The three Klover wood stoves of the OLYMPIA family, namely OLYMPIA, OLYMPIA STONE and OLYMPIA PLUS, declare a heated surface area of 100 square metres with a nominal heat output of 9.4 kW and an efficiency of 85.2%. KUOKI 110s declares a heated surface area of 110 square metres with a nominal heat output of 8.4 kW and an efficiency of 92%.
In Klover data sheets the nominal heat output, the heat the wood stove releases into the room, appears next to the nominal heat input, which measures the energy of the wood burned: 11 kW on OLYMPIA, 9.2 kW on KUOKI 110s. When two wood stoves are compared, the figure that shows how much heat reaches the room is the nominal heat output.
The heated surface area is the value Klover declares in the data sheet of each model, and it is read together with the conditions of the house: the insulation of the building and the height of the ceilings change the output needed for the same number of square metres.
HOW MANY SQUARE METRES KLOVER WOOD STOVES HEAT
In the technical data sheets of Klover wood stoves the declared heated surface area ranges from 60 to 110 square metres. For four families the values are these, in order of surface:
- 60 square metres, 5.9 kW: MISS WOOD, MISS WOOD STONE and MISS WOOD PLUS, with an efficiency of 85.7%.
- 80 square metres, 8.7 kW: SWISS and SWISS CORE, with an efficiency of 85.6%.
- 100 square metres, 9.4 kW: OLYMPIA, OLYMPIA STONE and OLYMPIA PLUS, with an efficiency of 85.2%.
- 110 square metres, 8.4 kW: KUOKI 110s, with an efficiency of 92%.
In the MISS WOOD and OLYMPIA families the three versions have the same output and the same surface, and differ in the cladding: painted steel in the base version, natural Soap Stone in the STONE, majolica in the PLUS, available in Matt Black, Bordeaux and Ivory. All the models in the list are in energy class A+.
HOW A KLOVER WOOD STOVE HOLDS ITS HEAT
SWISS CORE integrates the Core accumulation system: high thermal capacity refractory elements, placed inside the structure, which store the heat and release it gradually even when the stove is off. Compared with SWISS it has the same nominal heat output of 8.7 kW and the same heated surface area of 80 square metres, with the accumulation system in addition.
On OLYMPIA STONE the natural Soap Stone cladding holds the heat and releases it gradually, extending its diffusion over time. On MISS WOOD PLUS the majolica cladding gives a soft and prolonged release of heat. On MISS WOOD and OLYMPIA the top is in cast iron, enamelled on OLYMPIA.
SWISS and SWISS CORE have a micro-perforated top that spreads the heat by natural convection, quietly, and front ventilation. On the three MISS WOOD models front ventilation is optional.
HOW COMBUSTION IS REGULATED IN A KLOVER WOOD STOVE
Klover wood stoves have a Keramik HD refractory combustion chamber, which the data sheets describe as highly efficient. On OLYMPIA it measures 350x365x380 millimetres in width, height and depth.
On MISS WOOD, OLYMPIA, KUOKI 110s and SWISS CORE combustion is managed with a single combustion air adjustment, for simple and precise control. The ceramic glass of the door keeps the flame in view, and on SWISS and SWISS CORE the ash drawer is airtight.
The flue outlet has a diameter of 130 millimetres on MISS WOOD, OLYMPIA and KUOKI 110s, and of 150 millimetres on SWISS and SWISS CORE: it is the figure the connection to the chimney starts from.
HOW MUCH OF THE HOUSE A WOOD STOVE WITH OVEN HEATS
OLYMPIA and KUOKI 110s are wood stoves with oven: OLYMPIA declares 100 square metres, KUOKI 110s 110 square metres. They heat the house and cook with the same wood.
On the three OLYMPIA models the oven is in stainless steel and measures 310x350x410 millimetres in width, height and depth. KUOKI 110s has an XXL stainless steel oven of 500x350x355 millimetres, with three cooking levels for multiple, even preparations, inside a vertical structure with an architectural design. In the lower part KUOKI 110s has a large accessory compartment.
