THE PELLET TRAVELS FROM THE STORAGE BIN TO THE BOILER
The Pellet Vacuum System is the vacuum feed system that carries the pellet from the storage bin to the boiler through a flexible hose. The fuel stays in the storage bin and is drawn up to the boiler along the route.
It works with all ECOMPACT pellet boilers, new or already installed: even an ECOMPACT already in the home can be fitted with it.
THE SUCTION BOX: THE ROUTE STARTS HERE
The route has three stages. The first is the storage bin, which holds the pellet: 460 kg as standard. The second is the suction box, which sits at the bottom of the bin and picks up the pellet.
A moving mechanism in front of the suction inlet prevents jams, so the pellet is drawn in continuously until the storage bin is empty.
The third stage is the Pellet Vacuum System: it controls the suction box, draws the pellet along the hose and delivers it to the boiler. ENplus A1 certified pellet is recommended.
A STORAGE BIN THAT GROWS WITH ELEVATION MODULES
The standard capacity of the storage bin is 460 kg. To increase it, elevation modules are added: each module adds 380 kg and a maximum of 2 can be installed.
The maximum elevation is 235 cm, and elevation extensions of 600 mm are also available.
TWO CONFIGURATIONS: PVS BOX 1 AND PVS BOX 2
PVS BOX 1 is the Pellet Vacuum System: it measures 32 × 28.8 × 65 cm (H) and weighs 8.40 kg. The code is PVS.BOX1.
PVS BOX 2 includes the Pellet Vacuum System and the Pellet Storage, with a storage bin of 100 × 100 × 115 cm (H). The code is PVS.BOX2.
The Pellet Storage consists of three elements: the storage bin, the gate module for storage bins and the suction box with motorized nozzle.
THE ACCESSORIES: HOSE, FILTER AND SPARE PARTS
The flexible hose is transparent and antistatic, with a diameter of 50 mm and a length of 20 m (PVS.PIPE-D50L20). The Trapdust filtration system has the code PVS.FILTER, and the replacement bags for the filter are supplied in packs of 5 pieces (PVS.BAG5.FILTER).
The elevation modules, 380 kg each, have the code PVS.EXTRA-ST380.
ECOMPACT: THE PELLET BOILER THAT RECEIVES THE SYSTEM
There are 6 ECOMPACT pellet boilers: from ECOMPACT 20, with 19.1 kW of nominal heat output, to ECOMPACT 35, with 32.4 kW. The declared efficiency ranges from 92.5% to 92.8%.
All ECOMPACT boilers have ultra-fast quartz ignition, which guarantees ignitions up to 6 times faster than traditional glow plugs, and Chrome protected loading: the pellet loading system is protected by a full chrome coating, to prevent the deterioration and wear caused by moisture in the fuel. A color touch display brings the control functions together, activated with just a few gestures.
