Discover

OUR STORY BEGINS IN THE EARLY 1970s IN SAN BONIFACIO, IN THE EASTERN PROVINCE OF VERONA, IN AN AREA OF ANCIENT ORIGIN AND GREAT ECONOMIC VITALITY.

Passion for work, determination and the desire to grow, passed from father to children, turned a small artisan workshop into an advanced business. Mario and Viviana have always carried its development forward, preserving the original insight and taking KLOVER into international markets with quality and innovation.

Klover and the impact on the climate

Woody biomass is considered almost CO₂ neutral because, when burned, it releases the carbon that the trees had absorbed as they grew. Recent studies on pellet and wood indicate emission reductions of up to more than 90 % compared with traditional fossil fuels, for the same amount of thermal energy produced.

Klover and air quality

A European Clean Air Testzone project, published by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency in 2025, shows that replacing old stoves with modern technologies can cut direct particulate emissions by an average of 40 %, CO by 25 % and organic compounds by 43 %. This is why choosing a Klover solution pays off: with new-generation technologies you get more efficiency, fewer emissions and genuinely cleaner heating.

Klover and the standards that matter

Klover works in line with the most advanced European biomass standards for 2030, which call for high efficiency and strict emission limits. The company’s solutions meet the highest energy classes and guarantee certified low emissions, ensuring regulatory compliance and documented quality.

Klover and forest heritage

Using wood and pellet does not mean destroying forests. These fuels, used by Klover products, belong to a growing European forest context: the Union’s woodland now exceeds 160 million hectares, an area that has increased by around 10 % since the 1990s. A significant share of these forests is PEFC certified, the international standard that guarantees sustainable management, mindful of ecosystems, biodiversity and the continuous renewal of resources.

Klover and the energy transition

Analyses from 2024-2025 on bioenergy and domestic heating show that wood, pellet and wood chips cover 65.7 % of residential renewable heat and are the second heating source after gas. Making full use of these resources could cut fossil gas imports by more than 9 billion m³ a year.

Klover and the value of saving

Recent analyses show that a biomass heating system can cut household energy costs by up to 70 % compared with natural gas, thanks to a more competitive and more stable price per thermal kWh. Biomass keeps costs less exposed to international swings and, with high-efficiency generators, it produces more heat while using less fuel. For those who choose Klover, this means more predictable and more affordable running costs, season after season.
